I was born in the 80’s baby and grew up in the 90’s era before trap. The neighborhood I grew up in was pretty safe now that I look back. I could of been in a worse place. My momma made me go to church where I remember of “I once was blind but now I see.” I miss my home town but I moved away cause I was seeking more space. I stayed in Mt. Airy and often visited my grandmother in West Philadelphia which was considered one of the more rough side of the city. Van Gogh murals on the wall covered things that weren’t too pretty. I became acquainted with the neighborhood kids on the block playing Jax and my fumble attempts of skating trying not to fall on my back. I remember playing ring and run door bell games, and jumping Double Dutch. I remember staring at suspect strolling in the neighborhood that may of not been one of us.
