If you ever need to stretch your mascara before getting a new one, here is the best way to make it last. Put 2-3 drops of saline water such as contact solution, coconut oil, or olive oil into the tube of clumpy mascara. You can rinse of the brush with hot water to clean any residue before placing it back in the mascara tube. It is best not to keep expired mascara or makeup at all due to expired beauty products can harbor harmful bacteria. Makeup experts recommend to replace your mascara every 3 months unless you use it in occasion. Of course this is not a Latisse solution.
